Survivor monk build
Before I post this, I would like to say three things. One : THIS IS NOT AN INVINCI MONK! You will eventually die. Two: You should REALLY REALLY have another monk in your team in this build. And three: In no way do I condone griefing of this build; Just don't do it.
This is an interesting build I was playing around with for a while. I tried doing it with W/Mo but You dont end up with enough energy . This build isn't about standing and living for a while, although it does it well. This build is about rezzing all your teammates against the odds. The only thing that will stop you from doing this is a Interrupt, but thats what Bonettis is for.
Healing 12+2+1
Protection 12+2
Divine Favor 6 (I think, just put extra points in this.)
Skill set:
1: Healing Breeze
2: Restore Life
3: Bonettis
4: Reversal of Fortune
5: Mark of Protection [e]
6: Shielding hands
7: Watchful spirit
8: Mending
Judges Armour and whatever sets give you the most energy /defense combination in items.
Now the deal is, when the battle starts, cast mending and watchful on yourself for a constant +6 regen. Go about the battle as usual, dont try to use up most of your energy healing teammates, keep atleast 25 for yourself.
Hit people with whatever weapon you are using constantly to build up adrenaline. When the enemies finally attack you, or when you are the only one left, and you have dead allies, First, cast Shielding and then Healing Breeze. Next rez your dead ally. While you are rezzing, cast Bonettis to get the 25 energy you just lost back up, and to block arrows and sword blows.
When your ally does rez, you will probably be at low health, so use mark of protection to get it all back. Rinse and Repeat.

Did you just suggest using mending and watchful spirit? Oh lordy. Why would you ever create a build that you say is focused on ressurecting dead team mates? Wouldn't you be better off creating a build that actually keeps them alive? Forget about using this in any type of competitive pvp situation.

I think any PvP team including a build like this is going in with the attitude that they are going to lose and thus they already have. Agree with eonwe. Don't plan for failure, plan for success. Keep them alive.
If they needed you AT ALL then they are going to lose anyway, no matter how long you prolong it.

mes/mo
16 fast cast
some amount of healing prayers
some amount of inspiration magic
random drainy spells
restore life.
sadly, that build has already surpassed the usefulness of yours.
1) monks dont res in pvp
2) as already said, a build that keeps people alive is >>> than a build that brings them back from the dead.
3) mark of prot sucks for pvp due to recharge and dispelability, breeze doesnt heal fast enough, and mending and watchful spirit just suck.

That build makes you worse by simply looking at it. It's evil.

IMHO I'd keep RoF and drop Healing Breeze. This build is VERY mana intensive. When you're dropping Breezes, you'll run out of mana real quick.
Just a thought: But maybe you should drop the Breeze and Shielding hands in favor of Vital Blessing(or some other spell that has to be mantained) and Blessed signet. That will give you alot more mana.
Peace.

I just dont understand this build. can you tell me the benefit of a build that revives the dead rather than prevents their deaths?
I can say I'd never withhold 25 energy for myself when my teammates are dying with my monk I'd rather rip off a protective spirit, heal party, and lay down a word of healing to try and restabilize my party.
and yes i know the spells i mentioned require a total of 30 energy but within the time to cast those first two spells you should've gained an additional 5 energy to ensure the word of healing
